Using the material containing WC to Ni-Cr, Co-Cr, and others as main component, it forms thermal spray layer by thermal spraying by using Self Fluxing Alloy powder that was made by adding B and Si as Fluxing material with using the flame of oxygen + acetylene (hydrogen) as a heat source, and then as it re-melts at 1010 °C ~ 1180 °C, it is a method forming a film of cemented carbide at the same time with forming alloy layer at the boundary with the basic material.

B and Si may gain elaborated film without pinhole because it is emerged to the surface of thermal spray layer by deoxidizing metallic oxide in thermal spray layer into B2O and SiO2, which is especially used a lot for the purpose of wear resistance. Recently, as it is re-melted in vacuum, it may minimize transformation of the basic material.
